STOP FUND DRIVE ON KBYU-FM UNTIL PUBLIC RECEIVES FULL FINANCIAL DISCLOSURES

Once again KBYU-FM runs another unwelcomed fund drive.

Before KBYU solicits monies and pledges from listeners over public air waves, it should make a complete financial disclosure, showing how much it takes in from these pesky fund solicitations, how much it pays to management for salaries and perks like travel to Bayreuth, Germany.  Above all KBYU needs to give a full accounting of its expenses showing detailed breakdowns.  Plus KBYU should disclose how much it takes in from Brigham Young University, its owner, which itself is owned by the LDS Church.

Until and unless KBYU-FM makes these disclosures, it should cease and desist from any further solicitations for money from listeners.
